Budding Paleontoligists in the family?

Since I have heaps of ideas for patterns for
girls and household, I thought I had better do a couple of patterns for little boys.

I'm sure your little hunters will love these. :)

Rusty Tools from the charity shop and Beads

Another nifty find at the charity shop.

They are already hard at work and the 2 beaded necklaces have been added to my beading stash. The blue have already been used on a crazy jewel tone block.:)

Eco Dye. Camelia

On one of my jaunts to the post office i spotted some windfall camelia flowers. So what's a girl to do?
See what the potential is.

A lovely pinky colour with a nice perfume :).
will add to my shabby stash.
And since the liquid is still quite strong, Ive started another batch with lacey bits and scraps.

The first batch was left for just on a week, as I kept forgetting about it.Will I forget again?
Probably.lol

Hand Embroidery Patterns. By ME! Yippee!!

A while ago I posted about some little embroidery's that I did.

Well I had quite a few nice ideas from peoples and so
I'm now doing my own patterns.
These will be available as PDF's. No worrying about postage costs. :)
The first 4 are now on my Sella account .
I have heaps of ideas in the ol' noodle for many different designs, both traditional and contemporary.
For my overseas followers I have also started an Etsy shop.
I'd love to have you follow along.
I will have freebies and ideas and lots of other items on stitching in the future.
Now that Ive made a public statement about it all, I'd better pull finger and get moving :)

Jewel Colour and Butterfly Bling

Bling butterfly on hand crocheted doiley
amid  a bouquet of daisys.
Silk ribbon daisys are fun and effective to do.
You can see that they've been set among others
done in different threads to bounce the textures
against each other.

Colour, colour, colour and spider-web.

Nearly forgot the spider-web and spider.
Couched gold threads held down with
DMC Metallic 273.
I love that thread and use it alot.

Book Wrap. Shabby chic.

Love the layers.
Love the textures.
I call these book wraps but they could also be stitched to a
like sized pillow for a shabby chic boudoir.
or even framed.
Will let you know if/when I sell it. :)
Lots of happy stitching
