Crazy quilt Block #5

Pulled finger and got my act together ;)

Another block for the CQJP project.

Its a lot richer than it looks in the photo.

I think she's giving me a very "its about time" look..lol

French-knot detail

French-knots are perfect for tiny details.

This silk-print lady was wearing a cap or hair ornament so

to make it detailed I stitched tiny french-knots

in a fine wool thread.

Yes the photo has shadows across it, as its hard to get a good shot at the mo as we seem to have gone into an early Autumn here and the days are very changeable.But you get the idea. :)
