Shabby Chic Book. In progress

Book/journal making is very popular these days, so here is one

that I've started to create.

The cover

And a couple of signitures.

On upcycled cotton/linen from a large shirt,

Ive added Lace n doilies and one of my hand-stitched motifs.

A stamp of a dear little ladybird on a torn edge of the same base fabric.

Its approxiamatelyA5 in size.

This is great fun :).

I will tack them down next, then add some embroidery here n there and some beads, But you know me.

I never know when to stop..lol.

Embellishing is soooo much fun.

Silk ribbon gives a wonderful texture difference on velvet or lace.

Crazy Quilt 2011. Jewel Tone

All the blocks are done now on the quilt from last year.

The next stage of putting them together will most likely take me awhile, so a few more close-ups and  an all-together shot.
